Indonesia's external debt rose 4.9% YoY to USD 454.8 bn in Jul-26 from USD 454.5 bn in Jun-26, driven by higher public-sector debt amid a decline in private-sector debt. National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Developed MBG Service Rating Application
BGN is developing an application that will allow school principals and teachers to rate the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) services provided by kitchens serving their schools, including menu quality, delivery timeliness, and other service aspects. The application will enable users to give star ratings and written feedback, with access targeted for all school principals within 1–3 weeks. Mineral and Strategic Commodities Exchange (BMKS) Set to Begin Operations in Jan-27
BMKS, also known as Indonesia Commodity Exchange (Icomex), is targeted to begin operations on 4 Jan-27, with its operating license expected to be issued on 1 Jan-27. OJK plans to issue regulations governing the exchange and the transfer of supervisory authority from Bappebti on 17 Sep-26, with preparations scheduled throughout Sep-Nov26. Summarecon Agung (SMRA) President Director Was Detained in KPK Arrest Operation
SMRA President Director Adrianto Pitoyo Adhi was among 17 individuals detained by the KPK in a sting operation on 14 Sep-26 related to alleged processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) in Bogor Regency. Several officials from the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) were also detained, while KPK identified Summarecon as the developer involved in the HGB process.
